September is Suicide Prevention Month, and at Plus One Foundation, we recognize the importance of greater awareness to mental health and suicide prevention.
Our foundation is dedicated to programming and support for individuals living with neurological conditions and traumatic brain injuries. People who have experienced head injuries face increased mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, mood changes, irritability, and sleep difficulties.
September provides an important opportunity to raise awareness, recognize these signs, encourage open conversations, and remind those struggling that they are not alone.
Let’s continue to listen, support one another, reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and help connect people with the care and resources they need.
